Nottingham Trent University
After graduating with a first class honours degree in Environment Design and Management in 2010, Yvette returned to the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences at Brackenhurst to share her industry knowledge with new students embarking on a career in horticulture. She has taught as Module Leader for the Garden Design and Applied Design modules on the FdSc Horticulture programme, and also for International Landscape Strategies (focusing on elements of design psychology) on the BSc(Hons) Horticulture course.
Yvette periodically leads a number of short courses with NTU, aimed at giving enthusiastic amateur gardeners the confidence to make changes to their own outdoor spaces.
British Academy of Garden Design
Yvette is also a tutor for the British Academy of Garden Design who offer online distance learning and blended classroom learning courses for garden design and horticulture at certificate, diploma, postgraduate diploma, HNC, and HND levels.
